City tycoon Agnes Kagure has exuded confidence that her rising influence in Nairobi politics will humiliate her rivals in the 2027 governor race.
Taking to her Facebook page on Wednesday, Kagure confidently predicted that she would win the contest with a massive lead, stating that she expects either one million votes or at worst nine hundred thousand.

“Huku ground kwenye niko wanasema tutashinda kura ya Governor na 1M votes ama 900000 kama mbaya sana. Huko kwenye uko wanasemaje Na siku imekuwaje mko poa,” Agnes Kagure has posted on Facebook.
Her post added to a growing wave of attention around her political ambitions, which have been steadily picking momentum as Nairobians discuss who might steer the city in the next electoral cycle.
Kagure followed the statement with a reflection on leadership. She insisted that real leadership is not built on “fancy promises or loud declarations,” but on a consistent pattern of showing up, solving issues and leaving visible results.
That perspective has been part of her messaging for years and appears to resonate with women groups, youth networks and small business communities across the county.
