Content creator Terence Creative has joined calls for action after viral videos showed Kenyan women being filmed by a foreign national in Nairobi.

In a post on Facebook on February 13, 2026, Terence urged authorities to hold the man accountable.

The man, who goes by “Russian Guy” online, was seen approaching women on the streets, talking to them, and later recording videos in short-stay rooms.

“This man must respect Kenyan women and their privacy, online DCI tuingie kazi huyu apatikane. We won’t keep quiet as our ladies get disrespected. Privacy is key and must be respected,” Terence wrote.

The videos, widely shared on TikTok and other platforms, have sparked concerns about consent and privacy.

Many Kenyans questioned whether the women knew the footage would be shared publicly or monetized.

Nairobi County Chief Officer for Customer Care, Geoffrey Mosiria, also responded after being tagged in posts about the issue.

“Ni story gani hii mnashinda mkinitag ya the Russian?” Mosiria wrote, showing surprise at the volume of complaints.

Some social media users raised alarms about how the man was recording. Darius Mokaya claimed the man might be using advanced spectacles that can record in high quality.

“Be alert, please. There is this Russian guy going round recording women using his upgraded spectacles technology. Just because he is a mzungu, they fall for it and go wherever he takes the videos. Even married women are at risk,” Mokaya warned.
