Nyeri Senate aspirant Nick Mararo has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting young talent in the county after applauding artist David Muturi for standing out in the #ChoraSenatorWako challenge.
Mararo praised Muturi for accepting the challenge and using his creativity to showcase his talent, saying young people deserve platforms where they can express themselves and pursue their ambitions.
“Kudos to David Muturi for taking up the challenge, showing up, and standing out in the #ChoraSenatorWako challenge for Nyeri’s youth,” Mararo said.
The Senate aspirant said he would continue creating opportunities for young people to showcase their talents, promising to encourage, recognise and support emerging creatives across Nyeri.
“I’ll continue to encourage, recognize, and support young talent by creating opportunities for them to showcase their art and pursue their ambitions,” he said.

Mararo congratulated Muturi for his performance and encouraged him to keep pursuing his artistic ambitions.

The #ChoraSenatorWako challenge has given young people an opportunity to engage with Mararo’s Senate campaign through art and creativity, while allowing emerging artists to showcase their skills to a wider audience.
Mararo has increasingly placed youth empowerment at the centre of his political message as he seeks to succeed incumbent Nyeri Senator Wahome Wamatinga in the 2027 General Election.
His campaign has highlighted the need to create more opportunities for young people in areas such as creative arts, sports, entrepreneurship and other income-generating activities.
For Mararo, supporting young talent is part of building a political culture where young people are not only engaged during election campaigns but are also given platforms to develop their skills and pursue sustainable opportunities.
