Mbavu Destroyer caused a dramatic scene during a live episode of Oga Obinna’s show after storming the set and engaging in a heated confrontation with the host’s bodyguard, Munez, in an incident that quickly went viral on social media.
The internet personality, who is preparing for a highly publicised boxing match against Majembe scheduled for April 4, arrived at the studio visibly agitated and refused to follow normal studio protocol. Moments after entering the set, Mbavu aggressively pushed past crew members while demanding to see Obinna, forcing security to intervene.
Video clips from the show captured Mbavu removing his shirt and advancing toward the host as he shouted angrily, creating tension on set. His behaviour prompted immediate action from Munez, Obinna’s bodyguard, who stepped in to block him from getting closer to the host.
The situation escalated into a brief physical struggle as Munez attempted to restrain Mbavu and calm him down.
During the confrontation, Mbavu challenged Munez while questioning whether he knew who he was, suggesting that he felt disrespected.
He also accused Obinna of favouring his boxing opponent Majembe, claims that the comedian firmly denied. Obinna repeatedly urged Mbavu to sit down and relax as the situation threatened to spiral out of control.
