Nigerian music star Burna Boy has released a new single titled “For Everybody”, a song that brings together African music, sports, and shared culture. The release has attracted wide attention across the continent, especially because of the strong message of unity and pride in African identity that runs through both the song and its visuals.
The music video features several well known African sports personalities, with Kenyan footballer Victor Wanyama standing out.
Wanyama appears in the video wearing traditional Maasai attire, a moment that many viewers have praised for honoring Kenyan culture. His presence adds depth to the visual story, which focuses on African heritage, tradition, and togetherness.
In another scene, Wanyama is seen dressed in stylish purple clothing alongside other African stars, showing a blend of tradition and modern African style.
Burna Boy uses the song to underline the close connection between African music and sports. Through powerful visuals and calm storytelling, the video shows how different nations across the continent are linked by shared values and history.
Speaking about the idea behind the project, Burna Boy said, “We are many nations, but only one heart.” This message is repeated throughout the video using faces, clothing, and moments that reflect unity rather than difference.
The video runs for two minutes and fifty eight seconds and had already passed 1.2 million views on YouTube at the time of publishing.
