Buyu came second with 15.4 per cent, trailing Owili by 1.2 percentage points. Ojienda and Ken Obura tied in third position, each recording 14 per cent.
The results place several political figures within a relatively close range as the contest to succeed Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o takes shape ahead of the 2027 General Election.
