Geoffrey Wauna “Pedeshe” leads an online opinion poll on the 2027 Makadara parliamentary contest conducted by Mwelekeo Insights, recording 42.6% of the responses.

Faith Norah Lukosi follows closely with 42%, leaving a narrow 0.6 percentage point gap between the two.

The poll offers a snapshot of online opinion ahead of the 2027 General Election and does not represent an election result.

Aladwa records 9.1%

Former Makadara MP George Aladwa, associated with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), records 9.1% in the Mwelekeo Insights poll.

Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) candidate Irungu Nyakera follows with 4.5%.

Reuben Ndolo records 0.9%, while Mark Ndung’u gets 0.5%.

Anthony Waithaka records 0.3%, while Benson Mutura has 0.1%.

The figures place Wauna and Lukosi significantly ahead of the other candidates included in the online poll.

Digital opinion snapshot

Wauna’s 42.6% puts him marginally ahead of Lukosi’s 42%, with the two candidates accounting for the largest shares of responses.
