The track, sung in Kikuyu, starts with a soulful rhythm lasting nearly a minute before Betty’s vocals come in. She narrates the biblical story of Pharaoh and Moses, calling for freedom and divine intervention. The lyrics reflect the theme of liberation, with Betty’s voice conveying urgency and faith.
“This is the song that Betty Bayo was set to release next. May her soul rest in peace,” DJ Jey254 wrote alongside the post.

Artists, friends, and colleagues have flooded social media with tributes, praising Betty for her mentorship, creativity, and contribution to Kenya’s gospel music scene.
Fellow musicians, including Muthoni Baby Top, Shiru Wa GP, Dada Sarah, Dem Wa Facebook, Dama Wa Mobile Spares, Samidoh, and Karangu Muraya, expressed sorrow and shared memories of her guidance and faith.
