City tycoon and Nairobi 2027 Governor aspirant Agnes Kagure has finally received another major win ahead of the 2027 general election.

This is after she secured a strong endorsement from members of the Kamba community in Embakasi North, who have publicly thrown their weight behind her bid to lead the capital.

Speaking during an engagement with residents, Kagure said the Kamba community in Embakasi North had joined a growing movement across Nairobi that is demanding leadership that listens, delivers, and puts citizens first.

She noted that residents were increasingly frustrated by what she described as years of empty promises, incompetence, neglect, and what she termed “vipindi” politics at City Hall.

“The Kamba community in Embakasi North has joined the growing movement across Nairobi demanding leadership that listens and delivers,” Kagure said.

“They too have grown tired of empty promises, incompetence and neglect, and they have taken a firm stand to support my bid as we fix Nairobi in the ways we can while out of office.”

Kagure used the opportunity to sharply criticize the current leadership at City Hall, accusing it of failing to address the everyday struggles of Nairobi residents.

She said poor service delivery, mismanagement of public resources, and lack of accountability had continued to hurt ordinary citizens, particularly in densely populated neighborhoods such as Embakasi North.

Despite not holding office, Kagure maintained that her team was already working with communities to drive change from the grassroots.

“I’m humbled by their endorsement and will continue to serve Nairobi, even before we occupy City Hall next year,” she added.

Her message resonated with residents, many of whom cited the need for inclusive leadership and practical solutions to long-standing urban challenges.

With endorsements steadily building across different communities, Kagure expressed optimism about the future, concluding her remarks with a hopeful message: “Better days are ahead.”
