Breaking News ; Kariobangi North Ward Member of County Assembly ( MCA), Joel Munuve Kimanzi has passed away
Elected as an independent candidate in 2022, Hon. Munuve was a bold and passionate leader known for his relentless advocacy on healthcare and education issues. He recently made headlines for questioning the Nairobi County Government’s ability to manage Mama Margaret Uhuru Hospital, urging for public participation and better accountability in health services.
Beyond politics, Hon. Munuve was a staunch champion for youth empowerment.Through his initiative, Team Dollar, he supported hundreds of young people in Kariobangi North by helping them access employment opportunities, mentorship, and training programs. His impact on the youth will not be forgotten.
Despite facing controversy, including an alleged attack at a public event and bursary fund disputes, he remained vocal and engaged in the fight for better services for his constituents.
His sudden death is a huge blow to the Kariobangi North community and Nairobi at large. We await official communication on the cause and next steps.
