Businesswoman and Nairobi politician Agnes Kagure has expressed gratitude to opposition leaders led by Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for supporting her family following the death of her mother.
In a message shared on her Facebook page, Kagure thanked Kalonzo and members of the Wiper Patriotic Front as well as leaders from the broader opposition team for standing with her family during the difficult period of mourning.

“Heartfelt thanks to my elder brother H.E Kalonzo Musyoka and the entire Wiper Patriotic Front and United Opposition team for standing with my family as we prepare to lay our mother to rest. You remain valued and reliable friends. Mbarikiwe sana,” Kagure wrote.
The post was accompanied by photographs showing Kalonzo, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and other political leaders attending a solemn mass held in honour of her late mother.

Kagure’s mother passed away a few days ago, with leaders from across the political divide sending messages of condolence to the family.
The businesswoman has been receiving support from friends, relatives and political associates as she navigates the loss of a close family member.
